Bellevue point guard Aaron Bright, one of the top rising seniors in the state, committed to the Cardinal. Bright was the KingCo 3A/2A MVP last season.

"The combination of the basketball program and the academics were perfect," Bright told the Seattle Times.

Bright said he was recruited to play point guard, a position he moved to last year and won All-State honors. Bright was also considering Washington State, Harvard and several West Coast Conference schools, he told the Times.
