The Varsity Boys came out on fire, opening up a with a 10-2 run on the way to the 22-7 first quarter lead.  After building to a 20 point lead at half, lead by a tenacious defense that forced multiple turnovers and some very effective 3 point shooting, the Wolverines played the Patriots fairly even in the second half.
