Bellevue struggled early as Monroe succeeded in breaking the Bellevue press.  Using crisp passing and converting numerous layups the Bearcats took a 12 point lead at the half. 

Int he second half Bellevue crept back into the game and inally took take the lead on a short jumper by Reed Hendrickson to go up 42-41.  Bellevue was able to maintain a 4 to 6 point lead the rest of the way and finish the game 54 to 50. Top scorers was Will Pineda with 15 pts.
